No. 1 Building of Shaozhou Hotel is located in the beautiful Shahu LakeScenic Area in downtown Shaoguan. It is designated as reception hotelby Shaoguan Municipal Government. Integrating the environmentalelements and characteristics of reception hotels, the building adopts

an inner courtyard layout with the guest rooms and the main functionalrooms along the outer walls, offering the guests the grand view of theperipheral lakes and mountains. Corridors with one open side frame theinner courtyard, providing a safe and quiet interior space for guests. Thefaçade design combines the traditional Lingnan architectural compositionwith modern building materials to highlight the regional identity withoutsacrificing the grandeur of a government reception hotel.
