The master planning adapts to the local conditions, with the functional buildings along the rim and open green space in the core area to form a flexibly enclosed layout. Coordinating with the existing S-shaped flood discharge canal, the green axis of the campus responds actively to the wetland park on the south of the site and the eco-park core area on the west to create a "park" inside the campus as an iconic feature. As a result,the central area of the campus is no longer dominated by a rigid axis and strained landmark buildings. Instead, the master planning looks more agile and natural as guided by the core idea of "harmony between man and nature called for by Taoism" in traditional culture.
